The co-founder of My Mate Ability, Mikayla is passionate about empowering individuals to live more independent and fulfilling lives. Mikayla helped establish this company to create a supportive, caring environment where people of all abilities can thrive. When Mikayla isn’t working closely with clients to help them achieve their goals, she’s exploring new strategies, attending workshops, and staying up-to-date on the latest practices to ensure the highest quality of support for everyone in the My Mate Ability community.

The co-founder of My Mate Ability, Alex brings over 5 years of experience in the disability support industry. Having worked at some of the largest and most renowned disability support companies in the country, Alex has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in providing high-quality care. Dedicated to making a meaningful difference, Alex co-founded My Mate Ability to create a personalised, client-focused approach to support. When not working directly with clients, Alex is continually seeking new ways to innovate and improve services, ensuring that every individual receives the care they deserve.

At My Mate Ability, we’ve been supporting individuals across Sydney for over 3 years with a dedicated team of 22 support workers.

Our co-founders, Alex and Mikayla, are personally involved in every aspect of the business, ensuring clear, compassionate communication and tailored care for every client. They also lead our internal training to maintain the highest standards of support.

This hands-on approach allows us to deliver personalised, high-quality care, ensuring our clients feel supported and valued every step of the way.
